This Privacy Policy explains how Studioo FZ-LLC ("Studioo", "we") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the Studioo platform.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed), phone number.
• Booking data: classes booked, attendance, payment amount, booking codes.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processor; we never store full card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, device, browser, cookies, usage analytics.
• Optional data: profile picture, preferences, reviews you publish.

2. Why we use it

• To create and operate your account.
• To process bookings and payments, and to remit funds to Studios.
• To send transactional communications (confirmations, reminders, cancellations).
• To prevent fraud, abuse and to comply with legal obligations.
• To improve the Platform and personalise recommendations.
• With your consent, to send marketing communications.

3. Legal bases

We process data on the basis of contract performance (your bookings), legitimate interest (security, product improvement), legal obligation (accounting, tax), and consent (marketing and non-essential cookies).

4. Sharing

• With the Studio you book with, strictly the data needed to honour the booking.
• With service providers (hosting, payments, email, analytics) under contract.
• With authorities when legally required.
• We never sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.

6. Retention

Account and booking data are retained for as long as your account is active and for up to 10 years afterwards to meet accounting and legal obligations. Marketing data is deleted when you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

• Access, rectification, deletion and portability of your data.
• Objection to processing and withdrawal of consent at any time.
• Lodging a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit, hashed credentials, access controls, and continuous monitoring. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and notify us of any incident.
